Betty Hagin Anglado 81, went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2017. Betty was a Florida native, having been born to parents Perry Calvin Hagin and Lela Blanche Simmons in Wimauma, Florida as the youngest of 10 children. She attended Brandon High School and lived all of her life in Brandon and Tampa. Betty worked for Hillsborough Community College, Tampa Cold Storage, owned two restaurants and spent many years as the Comptroller for ABC Autos. She was a long-time member of Idlewild Baptist Church and served in the Music Ministry until her health...

Betty Hagin Anglado 81, went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2017. Betty was a Florida native, having been born to parents Perry Calvin Hagin and Lela Blanche Simmons in Wimauma, Florida as the youngest of 10 children. She attended Brandon High School and lived all of her life in Brandon and Tampa. Betty worked for Hillsborough Community College, Tampa Cold Storage, owned two restaurants and spent many years as the Comptroller for ABC Autos. She was a long-time member of Idlewild Baptist Church and served in the Music Ministry until her health would no longer allow her to do so. She was preceeded in death by husband, James E. Anglado in 2002; father and mother, Perry and Lela Hagin; brothers, J.C., Mabry, Moody, Horton and Burton; and sisters, Nettie, Mable, Pat and Vondell. She is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Beckner Costley; grandson, Robert Micah Noland; sister-in-law, Dorothy Hagin; along with many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She was the most awesome, loving and supporting mother and grandmother, a caretaker and counselor to many. She lived with and gained her amazing strength through great faith in the Lord and her passion for people. We will greatly miss her conversations, laughter and strength. Services are being held Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 10am at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa; visitation will take place on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 6-8pm.
