Williams, Joyce Carolyn, 89, went to be with her Lord on March 30, 2015. Joyce was born in Chicago, Illinois and has been a resident of Tampa since 1969. She retired from the City of Tampa in 1991. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her feisty spirit will be missed by all who loved her. Joyce leaves behind her children, Mary Lou Whitacre (Joe), Cindy Edwards (Jim), Jimmy Williams (Christine), and Roy Williams (Kathy) Rodney Williams (Anita) ;grandchildren, Brian Whitacre, Jennifer Wuest, Amanda Koji, Shawna, Michelle, Jamie, Spencer, Zachary, Collette, Aren,...

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her feisty spirit will be missed by all who loved her. Joyce leaves behind her children, Mary Lou Whitacre (Joe), Cindy Edwards (Jim), Jimmy Williams (Christine), and Roy Williams (Kathy) Rodney Williams (Anita) ;grandchildren, Brian Whitacre, Jennifer Wuest, Amanda Koji, Shawna, Michelle, Jamie, Spencer, Zachary, Collette, Aren, James and Lanna; great-grandchildren, Devin, Jonah, Charlie, Mary Elizabeth, Sam, Max, Grant, Jason, Sadie, Jon Jon, Kami, Blaze, Jayden, Matt, Mathew, Josuha, Gracie, Jon Jon, Cory, Alisha, and former husband George William. She now joins her parents Albert Williams and Clara Pemble; sister, Shirley Titchenell; and grandson Joseph Terrell Whitacre. Her family would like to take this time to express appreciation for all who supported us during this time with prayer. To the staff at LifePath Melech House, thank you for all your tender care and Aqua Team for your team support. You do the very best to help families transition from this life to the next. Let all you do be done in love. A funeral service will be held at Tims Memorial Presbyterian Church of Lutz on Saturday, April 4 at 12pm; family will start receiving guests at 11am.
