From New Hampshire to the Florida Keys music lovers mourn the loss of Robert L. Cartwright. Born a Tampa native on January 27, 1983 and taken from us too soon at the age of 33.

On November 27, 2016, Rob was fatally injured by a motorist who turned in front of his motorcycle.

He is survived by his parents Denny and Phylicia Cartwright, his brother Larry Cartwright, Sisters-Ashley Cartwright, Amanda Densford in the Mississippi area and Neil Cartwright in the Bahamas. Rob has an amazing son Aspen-12, and beautiful daughter Sadie-4, Grandmother-Jane Boatright, Grandfather-Grady Warmack, Great Uncle-Larry Warmack, Aunt-Elizabeth Gottas, and son-Jeffrey Gottas and Aunt Renee Warmack. Rob had plans to wed Nicole Smithers of New Port Richey whom he cherished and was a loving father figure to her son Andrew-9 and daughter Eva-10. Rob, also has a grandmother-Myrtis Cartwright, in Nassau Bahamas, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins he loved.

Rob “AKA Fiddle Beard” was a local musician playing with the Bearded Brothers Band out of new Port Richey. His Brothers-in-Beards, Thomas Giamo, Ryan Embry, Billy Isner and Ghaith Kinder allowed him the opportunity to play his violin, guitar and sing from his soul. They and their loved ones have been a phenomenal support to the family along with their Sound Man-Bob Ballas and Band Manager/dearest friend Eric Voge.

Hundreds of people throughout Florida have been impacted by this young man’s music, kindness and friendship.

He is and will continue to be missed, but his music plays on here and in heaven forever.

See you one day up yonder Son! Love Mom
