Theda Ann Galvis lost her battle with cancer on Sunday, November 27, 2016 which cut short the life of this exceptional woman. She was born in Sioux City, Iowa to her loving parents Lucille Johnson and Wilford Corbell. Shortly after, her family moved to Sulphur, Louisiana where she spent most of her formative years. Later in life she lived in Houston, Venezuela, Gainesville and finally Tampa. She had the drive to improve her education at the Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville and graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science...

Theda Ann Galvis lost her battle with cancer on Sunday, November 27, 2016 which cut short the life of this exceptional woman. She is survived by her son, Carlos F. and her brothers, Corky, Gary, Mark and Cecil Corbell. On Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 5:00-6:00 PM an informal gathering will take place at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel to celebrate life and extend a final farewell to this beloved family member.
